New Books, New Blogs

Lately, I’ve been trying to live by the popular idiom: “Out with the old, and in with the new!” It seems like a silly goal, but it’s actually easier said than done. I’ve gotten rid of clothes I never wear, books I never read, and even makeup I never touch (that last part is a huge step for me). And, I’ve decided that as a continuation of this new lifestyle, I’ll be turning what WAS my summer blog into a year-round lifestyle blog. Obviously this is all happening as I make my transition back to school, hence the name of this post.

This will be my place to post exciting purchases, finds, and recommendations ranging from body lotions to living room furniture. And, as I’m living in a house rather than a dorm for the first time, I’m on a bit of a interior decorating binge. Forgive me in advance, please.

You’ll also find some minor rants, general questions, and personal feelings scattered throughout the upcoming months.

Though this post is just your formal “heads-up,” be on the lookout for upcoming entries that will actually allow for reader participation and conversation. The more feedback I get, the better.

And, on that note, I’m off to preceptor training for the rest of the day. Ciao!
